About the Institute
Founded in a decommissioned geology lab, the Nocturne Somnial Studies Institute investigates the physiology of sleep and the narrative logic of dreams. We maintain an in-house polysomnography suite, a modest library, and an archive of anonymous dream reports dating back to 1997.
Our lab focuses on the liminal edge between waking thought and REM narrative—where memory, attention, and body clocks misbehave in interesting ways.

Volunteer Screening
We welcome adults (18+) who sleep in the local area. Typical overnight visits last 9–10 hours and include simple sensors (EEG/EOG/EMG) and a bedroom that looks like a 1999 hotel on purpose.
